Job summary

Good Work Austin in Austin, Texas is seeking a Program Director to lead the Healthcare Access Program, drive strategic growth of our membership network, and oversee healthcare access services for food and beverage workers.

The role emphasizes in-person outreach across restaurants, bars, food trucks, and hospitality businesses, plus building partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations. A hybrid schedule is offered, with occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in outreach, business development, sales, membership recruitment, nonprofit program management, or a related field.
• Ability to build authentic relationships with diverse individuals and organizations.
• Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and initiating conversations.
• Proven ability to develop partnerships and represent an organization's mission.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day implementation and improvement of Good Work Austin's Healthcare Access Program.
• Develop and manage annual work plans, goals, and timelines.
• Oversee outreach, enrollment, and case management with partner organizations.
• Ensure program operations comply with policies and funder requirements.
• Collaborate on strategic planning and grant implementation.
