Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate to join our front-line team. You will greet customers, assist with locating items, operate cashier duties, stock shelves, and support pharmacy staff as needed to help people on their path to better health.

Anticipated weekly hours: 29; typical pay range: $15.00-$19.00 per hour; high school diploma preferred but not required; previous retail or customer service experience preferred; must be at least 16 years old and able to lift

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
• Visual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues.
• Greet customers warmly and help locate items.
• Perform cashier duties accurately with cash, checks, and card transactions.
• Restock shelves, update pricing, and assist with inventory tasks as directed by store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities and assist pharmacy staff as needed.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs.
