WorldClinic, Inc. is seeking a Health & Wellness Specialist (On‑Site EMT/Medic) to support safety and well‑being of jobsite workers in Defuniak Springs, Florida. This position offers day shifts on a 10‑hour schedule and an hourly pay of $23.

Join a physician‑led team delivering first‑line care, on‑site medical support, and coordinated care with clinical staff. Required: High school diploma, BLS, CPR and First Aid; EMT preferred; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS, CPR and First Aid certification required; EMT/NREMT preferred.
• 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, independent work environments.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.
• Support case management through patient follow-ups, referrals, and care coordination.
• Foster trust with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication.
• Serve as a psychosocial resource, offering peer support to site personnel.
• Lead injury prevention initiatives, including stretch and flex programs and ergonomic coaching.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the EHR and keep the on-site facility stocked.

About The Role

• Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.
• Support comprehensive case management through patient follow-ups, referrals, and ongoing care coordination.
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, on‑site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication.
• Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel.
• Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including “stretch and flex” programs and ergonomic coaching.
• Accurately document patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Ensure the on‑site medical facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with essential supplies.
• Collaborate with jobsite safety teams by supporting orientations, trainings, and additional assignments.

Ideal Candidates

• Education: High school or equivalent
• Certified: BLS, CPR, First Aid required. EMT/NREMT preferred
• Experienced: 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field
• Adaptable: Thrive in fast‑paced, independent work environments
• Customer-focused: Strong communicator and team player
• Mobile: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
