Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Retail Store Associate to deliver friendly, customer-focused service in a busy CVS store. You will greet customers, help them locate items, and process transactions while maintaining store standards and stocking responsibilities.

The role supports multiple departments and may involve assisting pharmacy staff as needed, with opportunities for growth through involvement in CVS services and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: remaining upright for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity to read screens and labels.
• Preferred: previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, showing compassion, and resolving issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties with cash, checks and cards per policy.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and conduct inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Assist other departments including photo and beauty to ensure full stocking and operations.
• Assist pharmacy personnel and participate in opportunities for growth and development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs to support customers’ health journeys.
