Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle's First Hill campus seeks a per-diem Administrative Support professional to handle secretarial duties in patient areas. You will liaise with patients, families and physicians and support nursing staff by coordinating unit activities and managing clerical tasks.

Qualifications

Description

Responsible for performing general secretarial and clerical duties in the patient care areas. Interacts with patients, families and physicians and acts as a liaison among members of the health care team, patients and families. Assists the nursing staff in coordinating the activity of the unit. Oversees the orderliness of work areas and orders forms and other clerical supplies.

Required qualifications:


  • 1 year of experience in related healthcare setting, completion of a Health Unit Coordinator program, or 3 months in a Swedish internship program.
