About the Position:

Serves as a Health Technician (Surgical) in a clinic within the Defense Health Agency at Naval Medical Center - Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia.

GS-07 Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes: preparing the patient and operating room; handing instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; obtaining supplies needed during surgery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
