Whistler Partners is working with a leading national law firm hiring corporate associates across New York, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area. The practice represents venture-backed companies across health tech and the broader technology ecosystem, advising founders and management teams as they raise capital, grow, and navigate increasingly sophisticated corporate matters. Healthcare remains one of the largest industries in the country, and technology continues to change how companies operate across the sector. This role gives corporate lawyers the opportunity to represent the businesses driving that change.
The role sits within the firm's Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice and is focused on sophisticated corporate work rather than healthcare regulatory matters. Associates advise health tech and other venture-backed technology companies on financings, governance, general corporate matters, and strategic transactions. The client relationships often span multiple stages of growth, giving lawyers the opportunity to build strong venture financing experience while developing a deeper understanding of the companies they represent.
The firm is looking for associates who want to become more than transaction support. As lawyers progress, they can take increasing ownership of deals, work directly with founders and executives, and build meaningful client relationships. For senior associates, that creates a genuine partnership opportunity. For lawyers whose longer-term goal is to move in-house, the role also provides direct exposure to fast-growing companies that may eventually need experienced corporate counsel of their own.
This is an opportunity to advise venture-backed health tech companies through the stages that matter most, while building the deal experience, client relationships, and ownership necessary for a long-term corporate career.

Matchmakers, Not Headhunters
Whistler Partners is a boutique matchmaking firm focused on counseling the best and the brightest attorneys over the course of their careers. We believe that the right move comes from working closely with talent to curate their long-term career paths. When it comes to career advice, what matters is not the size of the agency but the strength of your individual recruiter. We readily admit that we are elite and only work with the best – after all, a little elitism is okay when it comes to your career.
Employers love us because we are picky about whom we represent, and attorneys love us because we get them their dream jobs.
