Job summary

Concept Plus is seeking a Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for Health and Civil Federal work. The SA will support contract delivery, business development, and proposals, coordinating with the Chief Architect and BD teams.

This senior role requires experience across IT applications, enterprise services, O&M modernization and digital transformation, with broad knowledge of current technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience planning, architecting, designing and developing system/software solutions with at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect.
• Experience with Health IT systems, EHR, Health Data Analytics and data exchange.
• Experience in Zero Trust, ICAM, and other cybersecurity solutions (ATO/RMF).
• Experience in System Development, Software/Applications, Operations & Maintenance, Architecture, Cloud, Agile/Scaled Agile.
• DevOps/DevSecOps solutions reliant on cloud-based infrastructure.
• Distributed, highly scalable and highly available systems architecture.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate tech solutions into well-written responses across BD, capture, and proposals.

About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Solution Architect (SA) to work with our Chief Architect in providing technical leadership for our Health and Civilian Federal Sector. The SA will support contract delivery and operations, business development, and proposal development. The SA is a senior technical resource for these areas and may be called upon for customer meetings related to ongoing contracts, new business prospects, and with potential partners. The SA will work with Business Development personnel to understand customer needs and lead the development of solutions through white papers, presentations, and proposal responses. This position requires leading and coordinating the development of comprehensive solutions ranging from development of IT applications, enterprise services, O&M modernization, digital transformation, and other technical areas. The position requires a broad and deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and approaches, industry trends and being able to conceptualize proposed solutions that differentiate Concept Plus from our competitors.

What you'll do

Working as a Solution Architect at CP, in the Health & Civilian Sectors, the candidate will be part of a team focused on:

• Leading the development of innovative solutions in support of major Health and Civil capture efforts, balancing these solutions against cost, schedule, function, quality, and other business considerations.


• Creation of white papers, proposals, and briefings demonstrating the thought leadership capabilities of the organization, as well as supporting various marketing and business development efforts through customer interaction.


• Assist capture strategy development through technical leadership, including the creation and marketing of discriminating value propositions.


• Conduct pre-sales engineering activities, to include engaging directly with customers in combination with our Business Development teams.


• Own one or more sections of a proposal across a diverse range of topics.


• Assist in the development of capabilities across multiple accounts within the business.


• Support program management and business development reviews and assist in improving performance of existing projects as required.


• Support delivery by providing technical expertise and developing creative solutions to program problems, issues, concerns.


• Meet with customers when needed to brainstorm solutions and/or alternative solutions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.


• 10+ years of experience planning, architecting, designing and developing system/software solutions with at least 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect


• Experience with Health IT systems, Electronic Health Records, Health Data Aggregation and Analytics, standards, and data exchange.


• Experience in Zero Trust, ICAM, and other cybersecurity solutions for securing data, PII/PHI and obtaining ATOs through RMF processes.


• Experience in the following areas: System Development, Software or Application Development, Operations & Maintenance, System Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Agile/Scaled Agile


• Experience developing or managing DevOps/DevSecOps solutions that rely on cloud-based infrastructure


• Experience in architecture and design of distributed, highly scalable, highly available systems.


• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.


• The ability to apply critical thinking across an opportunity lifecycle – understanding what a customer is looking for and conceptualizing how a response would address the customer’s requirements.


• Experience translating technology solutions into high quality, well written responses throughout business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycles.


• The ability to conceptualize graphics to convey key solution concepts, graphically depicting process, relationships, dependencies, technologies, benefits, features, and other concepts that tie solutions to requirements.


• The proven ability to write, review, direct, and craft proposal sections across diverse disciplines and technology solutions.
