Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and inform clients of test results.
• Set up equipment and run quality controls.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, OSHA).
• Collaborate with Akron General labs on logbooks, troubleshooting and comparative studies.
• Register clients and collect fees.
• Inform clients of test results and refer to appropriate providers.
• Distribute approved patient education materials.
• Transport equipment and supplies and maintain safety.
• Maintain licensure and certifications.
• Recognize age-appropriate behavior and psychosocial needs.
• Assist patients with safety needs.
