Job summary
Touro College’s School of Health Sciences seeks an Instructional Designer to support faculty in online, hybrid, and traditional courses. You will design resources, training guides, videos, and on-demand options to improve student success and faculty pedagogy.
You will stay current on instructional technologies, conduct data analysis and compliance audits, and coordinate with the Online Education team to align with policy. Canvas LMS expertise and development of UDL principles are essential.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field; MEd preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health sciences.
- Experience designing online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses.
- Train and support faculty in online course delivery.
- Create training guides, videos, and on-demand resources.
- Collaborate with Online Education and IT to apply SHS policies.
- Stay current with instructional technologies and trends.
- Provide updates on ID trends to the Dean's Office.
