Job Type: Independent Contractor 1099

Compensation: $40+ per hour

Responsibilities

• Teach Pre‑Nursing and Health Science courses using engaging, hands‑on instruction.
• Supervise healthcare and clinical skills labs while promoting safe practices.
• Develop and deliver standards‑based lessons, curriculum, and assessments.
• Foster an engaging classroom environment that supports student success.
• Utilize technology, Google Classroom, and virtual learning platforms to enhance instruction.
• Monitor student progress, use data to guide instruction, and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in coaching and professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (completed or in progress).
• Direct healthcare experience strongly preferred (Registered Nurse, CNA, allied health professional, or other clinical healthcare background).
• Experience teaching Health Science, CTE, or STEM‑related coursework preferred.
• Ability to supervise student laboratory activities and provide real‑world healthcare instruction.
• CTE Certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and technology skills.
