Health Science Adjunct - Biochemistry

South College seeks applicants who are knowledgeable about Biochemistry I & II (lectures & laboratories). The course content includes fundamental concepts and principles of biochemistry, covering topics such as the structure, nomenclature, chemical reactions, and functions of macromolecules—proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes, and nucleic acids—as well as bioenergetics and metabolic pathways.

The laboratory courses are designed to complement the lectures. Virtual or at-home assignments are integrated. Lectures and laboratories are coded separately but count as a single course for teaching load.
