CrossSafety is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist for onsite construction and industrial safety operations throughout Texas. The position involves conducting inspections, leading training, and collaborating with contractors to ensure safe work environments.

Responsibilities include performing site audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and investigating incidents. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years’ experience in health and safety, along with OSHA certifications.

About The Role

CrossSafety is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support onsite construction and industrial safety operations in various locations throughout Texas. This position provides field‑level support, conducts inspections, leads training, and works directly with facility contractors and tradespeople to ensure safe and compliant work environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walk‑throughs, site audits, and hazard assessments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA construction and general industry regulations
• Work directly with facility, contractors, and trades to reinforce safe work practices
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and team training sessions
• Oversee site safety plans and maintain documentation, reports, and records
• Support communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and project leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of onsite health and safety experience
• Industrial / Manufacturing / Construction experience
• OSHA 510 and OSHA 30 certificates
• Experience conducting site safety audits and field inspections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Certifications in Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, OSHA, or Silica Mitigation
• LOTO (Lock out, Tag Out) awareness

Preferred Experience

• Electrical background
• Data center experience
• Experience leading incident investigations or corrective action processes
• Familiarity with contractor management and field‑level safety controls
