Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an aspiring Health and Safety Associate to support the Health and Safety Manager in creating and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures. You will help conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to address hazards in transportation and logistics operations.

You will assist in investigating incidents, delivering trainings, and maintaining records, while staying current with evolving safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry or equivalent certification.
• 1–2 years of safety experience in transportation/logistics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications related to safety
• Knowledge of safety regulations, laws and standards specific to the transportation and logistics industry
• Experience working with safety management systems
• Fluency in English
