Job summary

IPEX in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist to support Distribution Center operations, lead safety initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role travels up to 70% across multiple sites, develops programs, conducts audits, investigates incidents, and partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in health, safety & environment roles within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Technical Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety required.
• CRSP/CRST, CSP or equivalent is an asset.

• Implement and improve HSE programs and site-specific procedures
• Deliver training and drive engagement in safety initiatives
• Conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop action plans
• Support investigations of incidents and environmental releases
• Maintain HSE documentation, KPIs, and compliance reporting

• Review equipment, materials, and process changes for HSE impacts

Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support our Distribution Center operations. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve our HSE Management Systems, lead safety initiatives, conduct observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

This role will support multiple distribution centers, with travel up to 70%.

• Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Self-starter with ability to influence and manage change
• Solid computer skills and technical aptitude
