Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide practical, proactive support to our Housing teams across the South Coast. The role is home-based with travel across the South East, South West and South Coast, and includes salary £42,500–£45,000 plus car allowance.
You will work with operational managers to manage risks, ensure effective controls, and deliver health and safety training while supporting CDM and construction safety requirements.

Please note that candidates who do not currently hold a NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction Certificate, or an equivalent qualification, will start on a salary of £42,500 and will be required to complete the qualification while working at Anchor. Once achieved, their salary will increase to £45,000.

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to provide practical, proactive support to our Housing teams across the South Coast.
Working closely with operational managers, Property and Assets colleagues and the wider Corporate Health and Safety team, you’ll help colleagues manage risks, understand their responsibilities and ensure effective controls are in place.
Experience within social housing, supported housing or care would be beneficial, alongside knowledge of HSG65, L153 and ISO 45001.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact across our Housing services, helping colleagues strengthen health and safety arrangements and create safer environments for residents, colleagues and visitors.
