Millennium Health & Fitness is seeking a Health Promotion Specialist to coordinate and implement a comprehensive wellness program. Responsibilities include health screenings, education sessions, incentive programs, and health fairs, with biometric assessments and lifestyle coaching.

The role requires a BA/BS in Public Health or related field with experience, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to work independently following regulated procedures.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Public Health, Exercise Physiology, Health Education or related field, and 4 years of experience in the respective discipline (education/experience as defined is recommended, but not required).
• Current CPR/AED and first aid certification.
• Exhibit proficiency in knowledge, skills, and ability to perform tasks related to Health Promotion Specialist role.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision to ensure compliance with regulated procedures.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, develop, and implement a comprehensive Health Promotion program.
• Conduct wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, health fairs.
• Perform assessments (finger sticks, BP, biometric measures, height/weight/BMI).
• Educate participants to promote healthy lifestyle changes.
• Maintain current knowledge of health topics and update program materials.
• Manage supplies and files per guidelines.
• Support mobile worksite events as needed.
