Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of working experience in health physics or a related field.
• Experience with radiation monitoring procedures and equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear plant access and medical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological surveys to assess hazards and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Conduct routine surveillances and inspections as required by the department.
• Maintain radiation exposure records and operate monitoring equipment.
• Analyze survey data to determine protective measures and safety actions.
• Authority to stop work when unsafe radiological or safety conditions arise.
