Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Health Physics or closely related field is required.
Two (2) years of previous experience in Health Physics required.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer and team for safety program.
Evaluate and control radiation sources through audits and inspections.
Support and manage radiation authorizations for compliance.
Provide safety training for faculty, staff, and researchers.
Respond to radiological incidents and emergencies.
Skills
Knowledge of health physics fundamentals and federal radiation regulations (Title 10)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and computer skills
Ability to develop training programs
Ability to build constructive working relationships

Education
