Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in out-of-class activities during the assigned working day.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized or small group instruction.
• Translate lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction and meet student needs.
• Establish and maintain standards of student conduct needed to achieve an effective learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Evaluate student’s academic, behavioral, and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
