Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited institution.
• High school diploma or GED, and document six (6) years of full-time occupational experience in the appropriate certification area listed in the State Curriculum Frameworks.
• Document two (2) years of full-time occupational experience in the appropriate certification area, in combination with one of the following: AA, AS, or Bachelor’s degree in the career subject; High School Diploma or GED with completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program; completion of a Career and Technical Education Training Program; or licensure through a State or National credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement hands-on programs and activities for students.
• Participate with faculty and staff to plan and evaluate programs of school improvement.
• Manage classroom and supervise equipment.
• Analyze student progress and tailor instruction to developmental levels.
• Utilize technology and current research in instruction.
• Maintain records such as grade books, attendance, and progress reports.
