Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Health Information Services Tech II, you will perform all entry-level job functions while also conducting quantitative analysis and re-analysis of records for completion within the Health Information Management Department.

As our Health Information Services Tech II, you will perform all entry-level job functions while also conducting quantitative analysis and re-analysis of records for completion within the Health Information Management Department.

Every day you will perform quality control measures on scanned documents to ensure image integrity, correctly assign deficiencies according to Medical Staff Bylaws, and maintain strict privacy and confidentiality of protected health information, adhering to HIM department policies.

To be successful in this role, you will possess meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills for record completion, a deep understanding of HIPAA and HIM policies, and a commitment to ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of medical records while fostering a professional, service-conscious environment.

• Able to perform all intermediate level function, duties, and tasks in the Health Information Management Department.
• Demonstrate proficiency of the designated computer systems and the electronic medical record.
• Accurately assign deficiencies.
• Monitor the quality of scanned documents.
• Assist patient walk-in ROI requests.
• Meet qualitative and quantitative standards.

Job Requirements
