We are seeking a Health Informatics Manager to serve as a key member of Optum Advisory Services- Provider Technology Consulting team. In this role, you will be the primary project lead for implementing and optimizing clinical solutions. This role leads complex, concurrent initiatives, identifies workflow efficiencies, supports clinical governance, mentors team members, and partners with leadership to keep scope, timelines, resources, and outcomes aligned. Managers apply core project management principles while delivering exemplary client service that reinforces Optum's position as a center of excellence for technology consulting and EHR services.
Our practice continues to grow our comprehensive health informatics services capability using the collective expertise of our clinical, consulting, delivery, technology, and operations teams. The Health Informatics team assists our clients both internal and external in their efforts to solve challenging issues while delivering excellent results. We have a unique opportunity to engage directly with our clients and participate in creating and implementing solutions.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
