The Provider Payment Modeling (PPM) team partners with state Medicaid agencies and other public‑sector health and human services organizations to design, analyze, and implement complex provider payment and financing programs. The team supports initiatives across the full payment lifecycle, including policy analysis, financial modeling, implementation support, and ongoing program operations. PPM projects are analytically rigorous, policy‑driven, and highly collaborative, often spanning multiple states and provider types.

Consultants on the PPM team support both the technical and operational components of provider payment initiatives. Consultants work as part of project teams and are expected to manage defined workstreams, contribute to high‑quality client deliverables, and collaborate closely with senior staff and clients.
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
Range: $70,100 - $95,000
