Job Description

The Health Care Technician II (HCT) serves as a role model and mentor to HCT I staff and provides quality care to patients on 1 Oak. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, the HCT II practices therapeutic principles, interacts with patients and teammates, and assists in training new staff. The role involves supporting patients' educational and skill-building activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Unit Description

The adolescent unit is a co-ed inpatient facility for ages 12-17, providing a safe environment for crisis stabilization with various therapeutic programs and an in-house school. Staff work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and transition back into the community.

Position Details

This position is Mandatory and requires reporting during adverse weather events.
