The Role

As a Health and Benefits Lead Associate, you will contribute to a variety of complex projects involving the design, financing, and management of health and benefit programs. You will serve as the project manager on select projects, interface with vendors and clients, create deliverables, and ensure quality standards. This role offers opportunities to develop your health and benefits expertise, financial skills, project management, and client relationship abilities by working on innovative projects with industry leaders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to core health and benefits projects related to group medical, dental, wellbeing, life, disability, and absence management benefits.
  • Partnering with the client service team to deliver effective project management.
  • Advising clients proactively and providing excellent service on issues like eligibility, coverage, claims, and compliance.
  • Preparing for and facilitating client meetings, including agenda and material preparation.
  • Assisting in benefit plan analysis, design, cost savings, and funding strategies.
  • Engaging subject matter experts to meet client needs.
  • Reviewing client deliverables for alignment with objectives and standards.
  • Conducting benchmarking studies and research, providing value-added analyses.
  • Evaluating vendor products, services, and contracts.
  • Building internal relationships and collaborating across teams.
  • Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work.
