Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking candidates for a role within the Birmingham area to support the simulation lab operations and inventory management. This position emphasizes initiative, communication, and accuracy, with opportunities for ongoing education and growth within Alabama's largest health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Health Administration or related field strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and data entry.
• Strong communication skills and public speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, be able to take initiative and seek out tasks within the department.
• Interact with staff and clients regularly and act in simulation settings as needed.
• Keeping inventory records, restocking supplies, and running errands as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of safe keeping/usage of basic chemicals found in lab.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsibilities include data entry.
• Setting up & breaking down simulation events.
• Organizing/cleaning simulation lab and equipment.
