Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join its Human Capital practice in the United States. You will support health-care client engagements, build actuarial and financial models, and analyze large data sets to inform business decisions across health plans, providers, and government clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings effectively, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and travel about 50% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Passage of 1 actuarial exam.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on client work.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic and technical consulting engagements for health plans and insurance organizations, providers, and government clients.
• Build actuarial, financial, and mathematical models to inform business performance.
• Analyze large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk and inform decisions.
• Contribute to project delivery through analysis and client-ready materials; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
