Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Massage Therapist for per diem at Lancaster General Health. This role performs massage therapy and bodywork to patients and clients, applying a system of touch, pressure, movement and techniques to enhance health and well-being.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, conducting initial health history and assessments, documenting sessions, maintaining confidentiality and patient records, along with participating in marketing and community events as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed massage therapy education.
• Licensed by the state of Pennsylvania.
• Complete the required continuing education hours by the massage therapy board of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and/or visitors in a friendly manner.
• Perform and document initial health history, assessment, and evaluation of patient/client.
• Perform and document all sessions according to established guidelines.
• Explain procedures to patient/client needs and preferences.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
• Maintain therapy room cleanliness and supplies/equipment.
• Participate in marketing and community events as requested.
