Qualifications

• Assists teachers with instructional program through tutoring and directing classroom activities.
• Maintains records of student progress on activities and worksheets.
• Contributes to planning and assessment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administers pre- and post-tests for identified deficient standards/skills.
• Grades and files papers in student folders.
• Assigns appropriate worksheets and learning activities based on student needs.
• Tutors individual and small groups of students.
• Maintains records of student progress on assigned activities and worksheets.
• Replenishes and reproduces instructional materials and tests.
• Confers with teachers and assists teachers on student performance and instructional planning.
• Checks and maintains computer lab and equipment/supplies.
• Supervises student behavior with and without teacher assistance.
• Schedules students for computer lab and/or individual/small group instructional sessions.
• Participates in school activities and special events.
• Participates in conferences with parents of students.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
