Job summary

MNP Corporation, a fastener manufacturer based in southeast Michigan, is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator Trainee. The program combines classroom activities with hands-on training and mentoring by experienced trainers to qualify as a Cold Header or Thread Roller Operator.

No prior experience required; commitment to learning, growing, and succeeding is essential. Training offers opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to learn operations.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and training.
• Willingness to commit to perfect attendance during training.
• Able to read and understand job instructions and training materials.
• Able to complete required paperwork accurately.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift and sit as needed throughout the day.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with trainers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Commit to daily perfect attendance through the training program.
• Participate fully in the training program.
• Learn to use appropriate measuring tools and to operate and set up equipment.
• Learn to read blueprints and job specs and check parts for surface issues.
• Weld wire and participate in 5S housekeeping.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
