The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC is seeking a Neurology Headache Medicine faculty member to join a clinical leader in the state. This 100% outpatient role includes optional inpatient headache medicine coverage by Neuro-Hospitalists and strong interdisciplinary support, with teaching duties for medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Headache Medicine.
• Academic orientation and enthusiasm for teaching.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient position with the option for 100% headache medicine; inpatient coverage by Neuro-Hospitalists with optional rotations.
• Very strong interdisciplinary specialty support.
• Involvement in teaching medical students, neurology residents, and headache medicine fellows.
• After-hours and weekend call obligations are minimal.
• Special interests fully supported.
