Job summary

Headache, Migraine & Concussion Centre (HMCC) in Ajax, Ontario, seeks a neurologist or pain specialist with headache expertise to join an established outpatient clinic offering chronic migraine care and interventional options.

The role features a flexible schedule (starting at one clinical day per week with potential to increase to two or three days), no hospital call, and strong administrative support to manage referrals, scheduling and billing.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Be registered with the CPSO or eligible to apply.
• Hold Canadian or US specialty-board certification.
• Experience assessing and managing headache or chronic pain conditions.
• Demonstrate training and competence for intended procedures.
• Eligible to obtain Canadian work authorization.
• Compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centred care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff.

Responsibilities

• New patient consultations and comprehensive headache assessments.
• Manage chronic migraine and other headache disorders.
• Assess and manage concussion-related headaches.
• Medication management and treatment optimization.
• Administer Botox for chronic migraine.
• Perform peripheral nerve blocks.
• Coordinate longitudinal follow-up and interdisciplinary care planning.
