Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System - Liberty Campus is seeking a full-time General/Headache Neurologist to join our Department of Neurology. The position combines clinical care for general neurology patients with a dedicated focus on headache diagnosis and management, in a supportive academic environment.

Responsibilities include inpatient consultations, supervising continuity clinics, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in scholarly activity or clinical research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and board-eligible or -certified in Neurology.
• Completed ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
• Fellowship in Headache Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert general neurology care with focus on headache diagnosis and management.
• Perform inpatient consultations and supervise continuity clinics.
• Provide limited on-call coverage as part of Liberty team.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activity and potential clinical trials.
