Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Head Coach to develop the athletic program by teaching fundamentals and advanced skills in accordance with WVSSAC rules and school/district policies. The coach will manage safety protocols, supervise students, and evaluate performance within the assigned sport.

Candidates must hold a valid West Virginia professional teaching certificate or WVSSAC coaching license; prior coaching experience in the sport is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid West Virginia professional teaching certificate or must have completed the WVSSAC coaching classes and hold a valid WV coaching license.
• Previous coaching experience in the dedicated sport is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the athletic program by teaching fundamentals and advanced skills.
• Ensure safety protocols and supervise students within the assignment.

Job description

DESCRIPTION: The Head Coach is responsible for the development of the athletic program by teaching the fundamentals and advanced skills of the particular sport while following WVSSAC rules and regulations as well as school and district policies. The Coach is also responsible for managing and enforcing safety protocols for students participating in the sport, as well as supervision and evaluation of all students within their assignment.
