Xenia Community Schools Athletics is seeking qualified coaches for athletics and activities under district guidance. Successful applicants will complete required certifications, apply for a Pupil Activity Permit with the Ohio Department of Education, and undergo a background check through the Xenia Board of Education.

This position is governed by the negotiated agreement and an equal opportunity employer. Training and compliance with safety policies are mandatory for all hired staff.

The vacancy posted is in compliance with the negotiated agreement between the Xenia Education Association and the Xenia Board of Education.

Once hired you will need to complete the certifications below:

• 1.Coaches Tool Chestwill certify you in all needed areas including Fundamentals of Coaching, mental health, First Aid for Coaches, Concussion Training, PBIS, CPR Training, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training.
• 2. Apply for or submit a Pupil Activity Permit - through the Ohio Department of Education.
• 3. Complete a background check - at the Xenia Board of Education fee of $52.00(cash, debit/credit card). Please call 937-562-9037 -to schedule an appointment.
