Job description

Responsible for all aspects and supervision of the Volleyball athletic program that has been assigned to him/her. The individual may also have teaching assignments or other duties assigned and will be responsible for supervising or controlling his/her players' behavior in the dormitory.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Supervises all activities of the assigned Volleyball program;
2. Supervises, plans, and coordinates, through the Athletic Director, the assigned program's budget preparation and administration;
3. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with the high school coaches of the district;
4. Maintains a cooperative and supportive relationship with the Deans and with the faculty;
5. Supervises the student athletes participating in his/her athletic program in the areas of conduct and academic performance;
6. Maintains and reports accurate scholarship information to the Athletic Director, Director of Financial Aid, Registrar, and others as needed;
7. Maintain an accurate inventory of athletic supplies and equipment assigned to his/her program;
8. Coordinates and maintains, through the Director of Athletics, requests for repairs and/or improvements of assigned facilities;
9. Must be knowledgeable of NJCAA and MACCC rules and regulations. Adherence to these rules and regulations will be mandatory.
10. Fulfills other duties assigned by the Athletic Director.

Work Experience include required number of years documented experience in an comparable/related position:

2-5 years of relevant work experience preferred
