Job summary

Walsh Jesuit High School in Ohio seeks a dedicated Head Women's Lacrosse Coach to lead our program, foster a faith-based, student-centered culture, and guide athletes in developing both on and off the field.

The role involves planning practices, teaching fundamentals, organizing tryouts, supporting eligibility and equipment, and communicating with the Athletic Director and families to ensure a positive, values-driven experience. 5+ years of head coaching is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coaching experience at the high school and/or college level
• Head coaching experience preferred
• Ability to develop student-athletes athletically and personally in a faith-based educational environment
• Excellent communication and planning skills
• Familiarity with OHSAA rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices
• Teach and reinforce fundamentals, skills, and techniques
• Provide small group and individual instruction
• Support game strategy
• Work under the direction of the Athletic Director
• Participate in tryouts and athlete evaluations
• Support eligibility tracking, equipment, and program logistics
• Contribute to off-season training
• Communicate regularly with the Athletic Director and parents
• Maintain professional interactions with staff
