Head Veterinarian – Coastal Veterinary Care

Coastal Veterinary Care is a brand-new small animal practice located in Swansea, Massachusetts, just minutes from our sister hospital, Mass-RI Veterinary Services. This role offers a unique blend of clinical excellence, mentorship, and leadership, with the support of an established regional and national network. The hospital will open in Spring 2026, and we’re looking for an experienced veterinarian to guide our team as we prepare to open our doors.

You will play a key role in shaping hospital culture, medical standards, and team development, working closely with hospital leadership and operations partners to create a high-quality, client-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff
• Establish and uphold high medical and ethical standards
• Help design workflows, protocols, and team culture for a new hospital
• Balance leadership responsibilities with hands‑on clinical practice
• Collaborate with nearby sister hospitals and specialists within the network
