The successful candidate will lead a world-class program with strong research and education excellence, collaborate with CISE and the Hariri Institute, and build externally funded research initiatives while mentoring faculty

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with demonstrated ability to lead externally funded research programs.
• Proven track record of teaching and mentoring at the tenure-track or senior level.
• Excellent collaboration across engineering disciplines and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Head the Division of Systems Engineering and set strategic direction for research and education.
• Develop and lead externally funded research programs and collaborations.
• Teach effectively and mentor early- and mid-career faculty.
• Foster collaboration with BU centers such as CISE and the Hariri Institute.
