Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency is hiring a Head Start Teaching Assistant in Johnson City, TN. You will support early childhood education for 3–5 year-olds, assist the lead teacher, and help foster social and emotional development in a nurturing classroom setting.

Responsibilities include home visits, parent meetings, and coordination with families to access services. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a path to CDA credential within two years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and CDA credential within 2 years.
• One year of experience with preschool children.
• Ability to think and solve problems creatively.
• Proficient written and verbal communication.
