Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking a dedicated educator to care for and educate preschool children as part of a teaching team. The successful candidate will implement the curriculum according to established standards and participate actively with children and families. Applicants should have at least an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood/Development and three years of related classroom experience. Spanish speaking is preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood/Development is required.
• Three years of classroom experience with preschoolers in a licensed child care center based program, Head Start program, or public schools preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical/medical/legal information.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
