Job summary

Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG) is hiring a Day Head Start Family Service Worker (FSW) in San Angelo, TX. This full-time role supports Head Start services for children and pregnant mothers, coordinating resources and partnerships to help families meet health and developmental goals.

The position requires a CDA or an Associate Degree, CPR/First Aid, and the Family Service Worker Credential within 18 months, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR and First Aid certification (renewed every two years).
• Credential requirements include a CDA or an Associate Degree.
• Family Service Worker Credential must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID is required; travel waiver may be signed if no license.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and enrolls children and coordinates services to children, families, and pregnant moms.
• Assists families in developing and implementing Family Partnership Agreements and health requirements.
• Develops community partnerships and provides transition services.
