Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking an Early Childhood Education Manager to support the Head Start/Early Head Start program across multiple centers in Florida. The role focuses on education and development services, staffing, and compliance with quality standards.

The Manager will lead supervision teams, mentor staff, coordinate internal plans, and ensure CLASS and school readiness requirements are met. Requires degrees in ECE and state credentials, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Florida Child Care Director’s credential is required.
• Five years of supervisory experience in early childhood settings or Head Start.
• Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start performance standards and CLASS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the early childhood services area under Head Start/EHS leadership.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff; deliver on-the-job training.
• Ensure program compliance with HS/EHS standards across centers.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supervision of ECE & VPK Supervisors.
• Support curriculum implementation and assessment data aggregation.
