UETHDA Head Start in Kingsport, TN, seeks an Education and Behavior Manager to oversee education, behavioral health, disabilities services, and classroom operations for high-quality programming.

You will lead program coordinators, guide curriculum, staff development, and data-driven decision making while ensuring compliance with Head Start standards and state/federal rules. This is a full-time exempt leadership role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Three years of professional management experience with supervision.
• Three years of supervisory classroom experience with preschool/infants.
• Experience recruiting, training, mentoring staff and HR basics.
• Advanced computer skills and data reporting experience.
• Experience with diverse populations and community resources.
• Experience with ChildPlus and CLASS preferred; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Promote child safety and active supervision across classrooms.
• Oversee education, behavioral health, and disabilities services.
• Coordinate budgets for education, curriculum, and program areas.
• Lead curriculum implementation and staff development.
• Build relationships with vendors, funders, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and regulations.
• Represent the program with leadership and community groups.
