Job summary

NACOG in Camp Verde, Arizona, is seeking an entry-level classroom assistant to support a Teacher in planning activities, supervising children, and maintaining safety in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Level I: Entry level, must meet the job descriptions, and one year of experience working with preschool children.
• Level II: CDA or state certificate for preschool teachers that meets or exceeds the CDA, and one year of experience with preschool children.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document classroom activities.
• Assist with transitions between activities.
• Assist with lesson plans and data entry.
• Help provide meals, clean up, and toothbrushing.
• Participate in recruitment of eligible children and families.
• Assist with parent teaching and home visits.
• Data entry and filing tasks.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Perform safety checks in the classroom.
• Greet families and perform health checks.
