Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Prior coaching, playing, or youth-level experience preferred.
• Knowledge of softball rules, fundamentals, techniques, and strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with junior high student-athletes.
• Ability to establish a positive, safe, and respectful team environment.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain certification.
• Possess or obtain Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card as required.
• Meet district, AIA, and state coaching requirements.
• Complete required district/athletic department trainings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise practices and meets.
• Manage junior high school student-athletes in softball.
• Oversee program operations and junior high activities related to softball.
