Job description

One of our leading client into beverage Manufacturing is looking for a dynamic QA professional for the role of Head QA for packaged drinking water business . As it is a corporate role managing the pan India activity . Level of the position General Manager

Job Objective

• To implement organisation standards and ensure product quality and product safety across the value chain

Role Responsibilities

• To implement quality standards for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products at all franchisee plants for Packaged Drinking water so as to adhere to organisation guidelines/specification/requirements
• To drive Quality culture and awareness across the franchisee's and carry out HO- Quality periodic reviews across the value chain- plants, vendors -raw-materials, packaging material
• To drive the Corrective action Program(CAP) for the HO- Quality Audits
• Analyzing Quality Index based on market sample analysis results and drives CAP for the continual improvement of quality index with proper root cause analysis
• Ensuring implementation of quality systems set by organisation HO
• Maintain MIS of quality department w.r.t. to quality standards of all plants and consumer complains
• Designing of quality manual and updating online quality manual regularly
• Support to plants franchisee's operation wrt to packing material specification/art work on continuous basis
• Provide training support to enhance the existing skill set.
• Tracking and consolidating daily QA reports from HO and plants
• Tracking and updating consumer concerns, following up with respective plant/franchisee for resolving consumer concerns, consolidation of consumer concerns
• Responding regularly to QA franchisee manager for their requirements and resolution of their queries
• Updating of raw material and packaging material supplier list in consultation with HO-Purchase and communication of the same to all the units
• Drive continuous improvement activities

Experience & Knowledge Required

• 16 - 25 yrs
• Relevant knowledge in statutory standards and food laws laid by the concerned government bodies
• Good knowledge and skills in beverage manufacturing industry (Packaged Drinking Water, Soft Drinks) and different packaging types (PET, TETRA)
• Qualification : B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry/Bio chemistry/ Microbiology/ Food Technology
