Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a seasoned US forecasting lead to drive end-to-end market projections for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic brands. You will integrate epidemiology-based methods with claims and EHR data to deliver robust, scenario-rich forecasts that guide launch and in-line brand decisions.

You will partner with Commercial, Finance and Medical to align assumptions, stress-test scenarios, and communicate clear actions that unlock performance while embedding new analytics capabilities

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical forecasting experience using epidemiology-based methods and patient-level data.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets (EHR/EMR, claims, IQVIA) and interpreting results.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and ability to present insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead US forecast development across annual, long-range, and updates.
• Provide market leadership and influence commercial strategy with evidence-based views.
• Build patient-based models and quantify risk and uncertainty.
• Develop scenarios and tell compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor actuals vs forecast and adjust plans to improve performance.
• Champion use of local customer insights in forecasting decisions.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and governance of assumptions.
• Identify and embed new forecasting capabilities and governance.
