Qualifications

• 7 years of underwriting, risk management, or actuarial experience applying advanced mathematics or quantitative analysis.
• 5 years of external client interaction or comparable external interactions.
• 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, develop, reward, recognize; manage staff performance and productivity.
• Organize and direct daily operations with budgetary responsibility and policy implementation.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Sales leadership to manage books of business at regional level.
• Coordinate with regional Sales leadership to anticipate client needs and plan intraday workload.
• Provide guidance and insights for critical clients and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Align portfolio and functional results with strategic goals and risk management.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers and partners.
• Contribute to strategy development and oversee execution while mitigating risks.
• Maintain policy adherence and ensure consistent underwriting guidelines across teams.
• Review renewal and prospect quotes to ensure reasonableness and prevent losses.
